On especially larger encrypted rooms, it feels like Element Android blanket does not show edits that are visible on the web/desktop. In addition to confirming this myself, several users have confirmed the issue. Will link a rageshake from an iOS sender that cannot see their own edit in the iOS client after a while, but can see it on their account on a web client. Will also link my rageshake on an account I freshly signed into with Element Android, which I can't see the edits on either.
I've also first verified this issue on my main account on another homeserver, but rageshaking from it is failing due to content being too large 🙈
Rageshakes contain a message ID and screenshots from various clients, though the behaviour seems pretty consistent for myself in encrypted rooms of more than hundreds of members.
I noticed #3315 but this issue does not get resolved by logging in freshly, so logging another issue.
